Stand Up. Take Action. End Poverty Now

 The goal of the event is to encourage millions of people around the world to “Stand Up and Take Action” and demand that world leaders end poverty and achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). Millions of people around the world usually get together, kneel or stand, and read pledges in support of ending global poverty.
