The 15 tracker produced by Wole Oni, JB, Kraft and Etcetera himself will hit stands and stores in the last quarter of 2010.

According to the singer’s label X3M Music “The tempo has gone higher; the music is more unpredictable and electric; but Etcetera’s sound remains, there’s a lot of fun, love and pleasure in the mix, we have not compromised anything, you will still find more thought-provoking lyrics and uber conscious tracks like “Ring the Alarm”

The album which was recorded with all instrumentals played live includes collaborations with JB and label mate OD.

It’s been a long time coming, friends and fans have been asking when this album will drop, but I have been busy in the studios trying to cook up something new; something special. But I can assure you that this album is fresh” Etcetera says

Also, with the next general elections around the corner, Etcetera spends a lot time talking politics, governance and corruption on his new LP. ‘Ring the alarm’ for example, which was released at the peak of the Jos killings this year has inspired many fans and colleagues to think twice about the future of Nigeria and the role music can play;
inspiring us all to rise up to action and save our nation.

To be expected before the album drops are two videos “Ring the alarm” and “Post Card”. Ring the alarm shot in Lagos, Nigeria in July the single has since its release in February 2010 enjoyed massive airplay on radio. Dedicated to the victim of the Jos crises in Nigeria, Ring the Alarm speaks about poor governance, corruption and sundry
injustice in Nigeria.
