First openly bisexual wrestler hits the air

Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling took a bold step this Monday, officially debuting the first openly bisexual wrestler at a major U.S.-based professional wrestling promotion.

Orlando Jordan is the character – and truly is bisexual, not just portraying a gay (or bi) character, as has been the norm in pro wrestling’s past.

Jordan made his debut for TNA Wrestling on Jan. 4, with no hint that night of his sexuality. He walked to the ring for a February match accompanied by a male and a female.

Are they sure he's really a bisexual? He seems more interested in the lady than the dude...
Check out the body language...

See, I understand heterosexuals and homosexuals.
I don't understand bisexuals at all.
Make up your confused minds. What do you like? The vagina or the penis?
It's not that hard...choose one or the other! Why do you want both?
Greedy people :-)
What's your stand on bisexuality?

Ricky Martin confirms he's gay

"I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am," Martin, 38, said in a statement on his website, rickymartinmusic.com, on Monday. He decided to reveal the truth after working on his memoirs helped him realize that he had to be free with himself, and not keep any more secrets.

"To keep living as I did up until today would be to indirectly diminish the glow that my kids where born with. From the moment I wrote the first phrase I was sure the book was the tool that was going to help me free myself from things I was carrying within me for a long time. Things that were too heavy for me to keep inside," he said. "Writing this account of my life, I got very close to my truth. And this is something worth celebrating."

Home in Exile now showing @ the cinemas

Home in Exile, the big budget film directed by Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen has berthed at the Cinemas nationwide, after a very colourful and well-attended premiere. Speaking on the success of the premiere and why he decided to storm cinemas with the film, Imasuen, with over 100 Nollywood movies to his credit, as a director, said the premiere was a pointer to the fact that Nollywood has fully bounced back. “Home in Exile, was shot last year and premiered first at the Odeon Cinema, London. The world premiere was graced by both Nollywood and Hollywood stars. We just had another well attended and star-studded premiere in Nigeria recently. The essence of the premiere was to allow Nigerians see this movie and know that there is no place like home. It’s our own little way of helping to rebrand and reposition the battered image of Nigeria. Parents and their children, especially those living abroad, have a lot to learn from this interesting movie”, he posited.

Senate Screens Ministerial Nominees

Senate began on Monday to screen Acting President Goodluck Jonathan's nominees for his new cabinet, whose rapid formation would ease political uncertainty in the nation.
Some of the nominees that have been screened are Fidelia Njeze, representing Enugu state and Adetokunbo Kayode of Ondo state.
The screening of former information minister, Professor Dora Akunyili, however elicited a lot of emotions from the senators.

Senator Alhaji Kanto Bello questioned Professor Dora Akunyili’s actions during the resolution that made Dr. Goodluck Jonathan Acting president as well as her comments regarding the president’s health and absence from office.

Her screening was cut short by the uproar elicited by the questioning and was subsequently adjourned to continue tomorrow.
