Naija Entertainment Gists.

Here's a little Naija gist for y'all

War between Freestyle and his Record label boss, Solomon Arueya. I heard that the fight between Westside Music Boss, and former Trybesmen member, Freestyle was bloody...no need to tell you all the story, hear from the horses mouth.
Freestyle on Solomon "I am already filing a suit against him for breach of contract, assault and injuries. He inflicted physical injuries on me in his office. A case my family members are not taking lightly. It's some of the reasons I want to sue him. If he compromises the charges by the day I go to him, I'll withdraw the charges, but if he doesn't, I'll take the case to court. What right does he have to inflict injuries on me? As a matter of fact, the contract I had with him had long expired. We signed a contract of three years, with two albums and the three years has passed. He later came around to beg me that we should try and see what comes out of it. I obliged and gave him the album. Now he is not paying me my due royalties and other necessary things he also neglected. I'm tired of staying on his label, I want to move on with my life"

Solomon on Freestyle "Freestyle is one ambitious man. He had a two album contract with Westwide Music and he has only released one and people are saying that we lost Freestyle due to unpaid royalties. I don't think Freestyle can say that to our face. The day he signed on to Westside, he got paid. A kind of sign on fee that will be deducted from his royalties. We paid him for the production of his album though he said he used the money to acquire his apartment. There was a time I paid him to produce a few tracks for one of the artiste on the label but when he wasn't available for the job, we converted the money to be part of his royalties."
