Thrive Hosts Business Leadership Development Summit

It is a much stated fact that the private sector is the engine of growth of any economy, and that a good number of thriving businesses were once start-ups and SMEs. It is therefore imperative for our nation to focus on fostering the spirit of enterprise among our citizens in order for us to realize the vision of a developed Nigeria.

Various solutions have been proffered as panacea for the low level of successful enterprises in our country compared to other developed nations; and while some place the responsibility for action at the door of government, others believe that only a concerted effort by all stakeholders can achieve the much needed effective stimulation of our economy.

This weekend July 6-7, Thrive will be hosting leaders of thought in the field of business and leadership. Dwelling on the theme – “The HeArt of Business Leadership”, the team of facilitators include Dr. Sam Chand – an associate of John Maxwell who was also named the 13th most influential Global Leadership Guru; Sam Adeyemi - renowned leadership expert, coach and author; and Tonye Cole - Co-founder and Executive Director of Sahara group; and the summit convener, Bolaji Idowu.  This event holds at Harvesters, Plot 5 -7 Gbagada-Oshodi Expressway, Opposite Mobil Petrol Station, Gbagada, Lagos;  From 9.30am to 1.30pm on Saturday and at 7.15am, 9am, 11am on Sunday.
