You heard about Imagine Dragons, right? Imagine Dragons are an American alternative rock band. Imagine Dragons are from Las Vegas. Now there are four members in the band. They are Dan Reynolds, Ben McKee, Wayne ”Wing” Sermon and Dan Platzman. Dan Reynolds is the vocalist. Ben McKee plays Bass and backing vocals. Wayne “Wing” Sermon is Guitarist, Cello and Backing vocals. Dan Platzman plays Drums. Imagine Dragon got its start in Utah. Lead singer Dan Reynolds met guitarist Wayne “Wing” Sermon there. Sermon recruited another Berklee music student to join the band. The name of the student is Ben McKee. The band added Andrew Tolman and Brittany Tolman after going through various line-ups. The band members lived in Dan Reynolds’s hometown Las Vegas. They recorded and released their first three EP’s from Las Vegas. The band released two EPs in 2010. The names of the EPs are “Imagine Dragon” and “Hell and Silence”. Bothe of the Eps recorded at Battle Born Studios, in Las Vegas, NV. The band recoded and released another EP after signed a record deal. The name of the EP is “It’s Time”. When Train’s frontman fell sick just prior to Bite of las Vegas Festival 2010, they caught through their first big break. Imagine Dragons were called to fill in. They performed to a crowd of more than 26,000 people. They signed with Interscope Records in November 2011. They began working with Grammy award winning producer Alex Da Kid. In July 2011, early member Andrew Tolman and Brittany Tolman left the band. They were replaced by the current drummer Daniel Platzman. They recorded their first major lable release at Westlake Recording Studios with Alex Da Kid in West Hollywood, California. An EP entitled “Continued Silence” was released on Valentine’s Day 2012 digitally. This album reached no.40 on the Billboard 200. A single reached no.15 on the Billboard Hot 100. The name of the single is “It’s Time”. In summer 2012 the band finished their debut album at Studio X inside Plams Casino Resort. The name of the debut album is “Night Visions” They released the album on September 4, 2012. At the first week the album sales excess of 83,000 copies. The album reached no.2 at the Billboard 200 chart. The album also reached no.1 at the Billboard Alternative and Rock Album Charts. Single “Radioactive” reached no.1 at the Billboard Alternative Songs and Billboard Rock Songs. Billboard listed them as one of 2012’s Brightest New Stars. Imagine Dragons returned to Europe and North America with the Night Visions Tour in 2013. All the tickets are sold. Imagine Dragons are a very good band. They got huge success form their EPs and the album also. They are nominated for many awards in 2013. I wish they will get award. I heard some of their songs they are very well. They are now very popular to the music lovers. I like Imagine Dragons very much. I wanted to attend one of their concerts but for some reasons it could not be possible. I wish all the best for them.
